The passing away of Mr. S. Rajaratnam is indeed a great loss for Singapore. He must be remembered by all Singaporeans as a great statesman and must remain a political Icon. Politicians and ordinary men in the street must treasure his style of leadership i.e.for his true LOVE for us all. We mourn for this loss of a great man.

Sir
Singapore has lost one of its finest and heaven has received a good steward with wide arms. Now you are at perfect peace.
This loss is but a short farewell till we meet again.
The legacy and vision you have left here will go on, personally in my life and the lives of my children and we will do our bid to contribute to a growing unified Singapore that is forward looking towards globalization.
