The crux of the Olympian account occurred in the Archive's Section of the Stadium complex... I got my father to pose next to a picture of Tokyo Games poster. For me, this was truly a touching moment. Seeing my father, who has always been a pretty straight laced man, clearly experiencing an emotional moment was rare as it was heartfelt.

Mr Rajaratnam was a great man. Extremely saddened by his demise. We have lost a man of dignity and courage, someone who made Singapore what is it of today. He might have left us but what he did for the country will always be remembered by every Singaporean.

Singapore has lost a very important person...someone who gave Singapore a place on the world map and a person who taught Singaporeans to answer that we are Singaporeans regardless of race. Together........we should live to his teachings so that we can all say that YES he did achieve something that is very important in his life.
