Kamil Haque at the 2004 Athens Games. Haque is the son of one of Singapore's 50 Greatest Athletes, Anwarul Haque.

The crux of the Olympian account occurred in the Archive's Section of the Stadium complex... I got my father to pose next to a picture of Tokyo Games poster. For me, this was truly a touching moment. Seeing my father, who has always been a pretty straight laced man, clearly experiencing an emotional moment was rare as it was heartfelt.

To The Family of Mr Rajaratnam:

I am shocked and sad by the news of Raja's demise when I read it from the website.

Please accept my most profound condolence for a man who has attained the status of a living legend in my heart. His immense & selfless contributions to mankind cannot be compared. Without him in the nation's founding team, things would never have been complete.

Please take care. Thank you.

I want to send my deepest condolence to family of Mr Rajaratnam and his close friends. Despite of the fact that I
do not know him much over a few decades during his term in office and after his retirement from politics in 1988. I got a
chance to learn more about this great man and founding member of PAP late evening from a television programme. My
eye was wet after watching the programme underscoring the loss of a great good man in Singapore. His idealogy of
enabling a multi-racial society not only to live peacefully, but also to prosper as one united uniquely Singapore over
the past few decades and thereafter. This has put Singapore as a strong red dot to reach out to her nearby neighbouring
countries as well as playing a constructive role to the global community.

There is no better words to describe Mr Rajaratnam's past contribution to Singapore and her people. I believe every one
of us who has benefited directly or indirectly from his involvement in the various ministries will remember and
appreciate him from the bottom of one's heart. I wish that many good men will be inspired by him to come forward to
continue bringing Singapore to a next higher level of prosperity.

Best Regards,

Peter Teo(A simple man in Singapore)

For the late S Rajaratnam,
Your contributions to the nation did paid off with a rememberance and sacrifice. Before even the young ever known your existance, world leaders did long know you.

For today, the death of yours did described as 'A Soldier's has fallen', as described by the USA.

So wished that God would see and protect your good deed and innocence people in you.
