The crux of the Olympian account occurred in the Archive's Section of the Stadium complex... I got my father to pose next to a picture of Tokyo Games poster. For me, this was truly a touching moment. Seeing my father, who has always been a pretty straight laced man, clearly experiencing an emotional moment was rare as it was heartfelt.

I am not a good writer. I am not good in English too. I am not a Singaporean and I am not devoted to the Singapore Cause. But What I can say is I am greatly impressed by this man's great contribution and service to Singapore. He has a very outstanding profile and I admire him very much as a world citizen and one of the Singapore leaders.

I'm sending my condolences to his family with the greatest remorse.
