Kamil Haque at the 2004 Athens Games. Haque is the son of one of Singapore's 50 Greatest Athletes, Anwarul Haque.

The crux of the Olympian account occurred in the Archive's Section of the Stadium complex... I got my father to pose next to a picture of Tokyo Games poster. For me, this was truly a touching moment. Seeing my father, who has always been a pretty straight laced man, clearly experiencing an emotional moment was rare as it was heartfelt.

A GREAT LEADER IS LOST. A GOOD NATION LEADER AND A GOOD FOLLOWER TO LEAD. IT IS A GREAT LOSS TO SINGAPORE. WELL I MUST SAY HE IS A NOBLE MAN. A TRUE MAN WHO BELIVED IN EVERYTHING THAT HE ACHIEVE. HIS ACHIEVEMENT IS ALWAYS REMBERED BY SINGAPORE FOREVER AND EVER. EVERYBODY PLEASE REMBER HIM TILL EVERY GENERTAIONS. HE IS THE ONE WHO SHOULD BE REMBER. HE AS A LEADER WILL ALWAYS BE A LEADER IN FUTURE AND FOREVER. HE WAS A GOOD MAN ALTOUGH I DIDINT MET HIM.
