Kamil Haque at the 2004 Athens Games. Haque is the son of one of Singapore's 50 Greatest Athletes, Anwarul Haque.

The crux of the Olympian account occurred in the Archive's Section of the Stadium complex... I got my father to pose next to a picture of Tokyo Games poster. For me, this was truly a touching moment. Seeing my father, who has always been a pretty straight laced man, clearly experiencing an emotional moment was rare as it was heartfelt.

Your documentary recently on depression and people who cut themselves because of it struck a chord in me. Can you please schedule for it to be shown again?

Just thought I’d email to say that the programme: “Breaking the Da Vinci Code” that was aired on Channel News Asia at 7:30pm on Sunday, 21st May, was a truly informative one. It gave a blow by blow account on myths (“false facts” detailed in the book) against the real facts. It was marvellously researched, enlightening, and gave a very accurate account of Christianity, Leonardo Da Vinci, Opus Dei and other subjects dealt with in the book.

I would like to commend Channel News Asia for using your platform as a TV Channel to bring the knowledge of the truth closer to your viewers. Being a Catholic, I was encouraged that your channel aired this program that respected and defended the beliefs of my faith. I look forward to more such programmes that promote religious harmony and uphold the truth.
