RATING:

SINGAPORE : It's crass. It's inane. It's sporadically politically incorrect and more than often idiotically offensive. It's pretty much "Dude, Where's My Groom?", but "The Hangover" is also laugh-out-loud funny with hilariously ridiculous set-pieces that will undoubtedly cement its position as a minor classic of the genre.

Three guys (Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis) take their soon-to-wed buddy (Justin Bartha) to Las Vegas for a debauched bachelor party that starts off with rooftop shots of Jaegermeister and ends with a tiger, a baby and no recollection of the night before. And no sign of the groom.

The Hangover is a depraved, degenerate NC-16 romp that brings director Todd Phillips back to his gleeful 2003 "Old School" form. There will be people who will not find this film one bit amusing - perhaps your secondary school etiquette and social graces teacher - but the rest of you should be prepared to laugh like you've had a little too much to drink. -
