SINGAPORE : Mainboard-listed engineering solutions specialist MTQ Corporation on Wednesday said its Australian unit is tying up with Robert Bosch Australia to expand its product offering.
Under the deal, the MTQ unit will get the distribution rights to all of the Bosch product range in the automotive aftermarket segment.
MTQ said this makes it the first in Australia to offer a comprehensive one-stop solution for customers looking for Bosch products.
MTQ has a network of nine branches across Australia. It expects to leverage on this partnership with Bosch to attract a greater pool of new and existing trade customers.
MTQ's Australian unit contributes about 49 per cent of the company's total revenue.
With this tie-up, MTQ expects the turnover of the Australian business to increase substantially in the near future.
The company reported a 3 per cent on-year increase in first half net profit to S$7.2 million for the six months ended September. - CNA/ms
