SINGAPORE : There will be more bank supervisory cooperation between the central banks of Singapore and Vietnam, as a result of a memorandum of understanding signed between the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the State Bank of Vietnam on Wednesday.

The MOU, which takes immediate effect, will also deepen banking sector linkages between the two economies.

It is among several initiatives to enhance economic and financial cooperation between Vietnam and Singapore. - CNA /ls
