SINGAPORE: The Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE) will help develop infrastructure projects in Kunming, China. This will be done together with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Kunming Municipal Government.

The three signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for this collaboration on Monday in Kunming.

The MOU will see SCE and ADB advising the Kunming Municipal Government on how to structure commercially viable infrastructure projects. This will help attract private capital in areas like waste water treatment and water supply.

SCE and ADB will also provide training to the Kunming officials in investment promotion and transport management.

The three parties will set up a working committee to identify and develop specific infrastructure projects.

SCE hopes to generate more business opportunities for Singapore's public and private sectors through this cooperation.
