SINGAPORE: Tutt Bryant, the Australian associate of mainboard-listed construction equipment firm Tat Hong, has issued an earnings warning.

Tutt Bryant said demand in most of its operations was more subdued than expected for the six-month period ended in September.

Also, a number of special factors, like delays in the commencement of major infrastructure projects, heavily impacted its finances.

As a result, its revenue from equipment sales and income from its general hire division fell substantially compared to the same period last year.

Analysts said the news could impact Tat Hong, although it had cautioned in August that overall sales will remain weak. - 938LIVE/vm
