SINGAPORE: Mainboard-listed China Flexible Packaging Holdings Limited said that it has added a new production line at its new plant in China's Guangdong province.

This fourth production line is expected to increase its overall production capacities by 37,000 tonnes to 93,000 tonnes a year.

The company is also in the process of adding a fifth line with a production capacity of 10,000 metric tonnes a year.

This new line is currently under installation and is expected to start operations early next year.

The company said the new lines are expected to improve its overall profit margin.

China Flexible Packaging also said that in view of the current economic conditions, it is focusing on adopting a prudent approach in managing cash flows and capital expenditure, and improving its operational efficiency.

The company makes and sells a type of flexible packaging material that is commonly used in packaging.
