SINGAPORE: Mainboard-listed hospital operator Parkway Holdings said that one of its units will be tying up with two China-based companies to set up medical centres in Shanghai.

Under the cooperation, the healthcare facilities will be owned by one of the two China-based companies, but will be operated under the ParkwayHealth branding.

Parkway will also provide certain administrative and consultancy services for the medical centres.

To align its interest in the medical centres, Parkway said that it has secured an option to buy a 60 per cent stake in the China-based company for 12 million yuan (S$2.5 million).
