SINGAPORE: CM Domain, a unit of Singapore Press Holdings, has won the tender for a new suburban shopping centre in Clementi with its S$541.9 million bid.

The Housing and Development Board said it received a total of six bids for the 99-year leasehold site in Clementi Town Centre.

The land parcel has about 25,000 square metres of gross floor area.

The retail hub, tentatively called "Clementi Mall", is part of a larger development located at the former Clementi Bus Interchange.

The mall and its carpark are located over seven storeys, and a library will be situated within the mall. - 938LIVE/vm
