SINGAPORE: Mainboard-listed manufacturer of pharmaceutical and personal hygiene products, Reyoung Pharmaceutical, said on Thursday that one of its factories was caught in a blaze.

The firm said a fire broke out at its warehouse in China's Shandong province on Sunday, December 20.

No human fatalities or injuries were reported, but a substantial amount of inventory was destroyed.

Reyoung said the impact assessment of the incident is still being carried out and it expects production to resume by January 10 next year.

It will provide further updates of the plant when new information is available.
