SINGAPORE : The construction and transport unit of mainboard-listed Koon Holdings on Wednesday said it has been awarded an S$8.1 million contract by Singapore's Ministry of Defence.
The project is for the development of shore infrastructure and ancillary facilities in Changi belonging to the Defence Science and Technology Agency.
The scope of works includes upgrading of existing marine facilities, sewage treatment plant and minor building works.
It is expected to take 14 months and will contribute positively to the group's performance for the current financial year. - CNA/ms
