SINGAPORE: Hospital operator, Parkway Holdings, has unveiled the new Parkway East Hospital at Joo Chiat Place.

It was formerly known as East Shore Hospital and had undergone upgrading works costing more than S$2 million. The upgrading works took more than a year to complete.

The 118-bed "boutique" hospital offers a broad range of clinical disciplines and subspecialties. More specialist clinics have also been established at the hospital to expand the range of medical services available to patients and visitors.

Parkway acquired the hospital in 1995.
