City Telecom, M1 and StarHub sign consortium agreement

SINGAPORE: Hong Kong's City Telcom, Singapore's M1 and StarHub have formed a consortium. Called Infinity Consortium, the alliance plans to deliver next-generation broadband technology to Singapore.

It plans to take part in the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore's Request For Proposal for Next Generation National Broadband Network's Company (Next GEN NBN).

Next Gen NBN is part of Singapore's Next Generation National Infocomm Infrastructure.

The consortium said it will submit its bid on 5 May 2008. - CNA/vm
