Trade Minister Lim re-appointed Deputy Chairman of MAS board

SINGAPORE: Trade and Industry Minister Lim Hng Kiang has been re-appointed as Deputy Chairman of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) for another two years.

The appointment takes effect on June 1.

Attorney-General Professor Walter Woon is a new addition to the MAS Board and his appointment takes effect on May 20.

Former Attorney-General Chao Hick Tin stepped down from the MAS Board with effect from April 11, following his re-appointment as a Judge of Appeal of the Supreme Court. - CNA/vm
