SINGAPORE: The Chinese port machinery and heavy marine equipment manufacturer, Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery, has established its first Southeast Asian subsidiary company and spare parts centre in Singapore.

This is in line with its global expansion plan, which allows the firm to shorten the spare parts lead time and provide more professional maintenance and technical support to its customers.

It already has spare parts centres in Amsterdam and Los Angeles.

Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery said it has 70 per cent of the world container crane market and it plans to expand into new market areas such as offshore heavy-duty equipments, large-sized steel structure, and spare parts for heavy-duty machinery.
