SINGAPORE: Singapore's Media Development Authority (MDA) has launched a programme called iMATCH to help interactive digital media (IDM) startups raise capital.

iMATCH is designed to seek out the best of local IDM companies and to introduce them to local venture capitalists and other equity investors.

This is done by first exposing selected companies to a rigorous programme, consisting of an intensive business plan and investor presentation master class, one-on-one business plan improvement meetings, and personal coaching sessions.

The selected companies will then be given the chance to pitch their projects to venture capitalists and other potential investors.

On top of private investment, these companies will also qualify for research and development grants from the Interactive Digital Media Research and Development Programme Office or co-investment by SPRING SEEDS Capital.

More information about the new programme is available online at
www.idm.sg.
