Chng Sok Hui appointed CFO of DBS

SINGAPORE : DBS veteran Chng Sok Hui has been appointed chief financial officer at the bank.

Mrs Chng has been with DBS for 25 years and held the position of head of group risk for the last six years.

She replaces Jeanette Wong, who takes on the role of group executive responsible for institutional banking group and international operations, excluding Greater China.

Ms Wong will be responsible for financial and management reporting of DBS Group and capital management.

She also leads the Group's financial initiatives, including capital fund raising, mergers and acquisitions.

The changes take effect from October 1. - CNA/ms
