SINGAPORE: StarHub has posted a 2.1 per cent drop in third quarter earnings on-year. Net profit for the three months ended September 30 came in at S$79.5 million.

The decline was attributed to higher operating expenses and taxes. Revenue also rose by 2 per cent to S$525 million.

StarHub is maintaining its guidance for a 7 per cent growth in revenue for the full year.

In a conference call, StarHub said it is not likely to bring the iPhone into Singapore this year.
