SINGAPORE: Singapore Techologies Kinetics has been awarded a S$330 million contract to supply military vehicles to the United Kingdom's defence ministry.

The deliveries will commence in the third quarter of 2009, with the majority to be delivered in 2010.

The military vehicles are being procured in response to an Urgent Operational Requirement by the UK Ministry of Defence.

ST Kinetics is the land systems arm of mainboard-listed ST Engineering.

The contract is not expected to have any material impact on ST Engineering's consolidated net tangible assets per share and earnings per share for the current financial year. - CNA/vm
