Boustead Singapore secures energy related contracts worth S$64m

SINGAPORE: Boustead Singapore's energy-related engineering division has secured five contracts worth S$64 million.

The contracts will involve the design, process engineering and construction of components for refineries, gas processing plants, petrochemical facilities and power plants.

The projects will be based in Brazil, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, the United States and the United Kingdom.

Boustead said it does not expect the projects to have any effect on its performance for the financial year ending March 2009.

However, it said it expects the projects to have a positive impact on their figures for next financial year.
