SINGAPORE: The Singapore Exchange (SGX) and Norway's stock exchange are set to cooperate in dual listings of companies listed on each other's bourses.

The proposed cooperation between SGX and Oslo Bors ASA will initially focus on the energy, offshore and shipping sectors, which are key sectors common to both exchanges.

In a statement, SGX said the parties will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on July 8.

SGX said the proposed cooperation is not expected to have any material impact on its earnings per share and net tangible assets per share for the current financial year.
