SINGAPORE: ST Aerospace has signed a S$65 million agreement to provide component support for South Korean airline Jeju Air.

Under the agreement, ST Aerospace will provide component maintenance works on a Maintenance By The Hour or MBH basis.

ST Aerospace will also provide asset lease and access to its worldwide inventory pool to support Jeju Air's fleet of Boeing 737 next generation aircraft over 10 years.

This is the fourth agreement ST Aerospace has signed in the last month for its component MBH programme. The others include agreements with Shanghai Airlines, Cimber Sterling and Primera Air.

ST Aerospace said its MBH solution was initially tailored for start-up airlines and low cost carriers but it has also achieved initial successes with some traditional airlines. - 938LIVE/vm
