BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Khairul Amri scored his first goals of 2009 to earn a point for Tampines Rovers as they held DPMM FC to a 2-2 draw at the Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium in Bandar Seri Begawan on Tuesday evening.

The Stags thus kept their four-point lead over their Bruneian hosts in the league table - but the biggest beneficiary of the result appears to be SAFFC, who can now clinch the S.League title with a win over Gombak United in 24 hours' time.

Khairul struck in the fifth minute to cancel out Shahrazen Said's third-minute opener, and then bagged a penalty eight minutes into the second half to restore parity after Ivan Jerkovic had scored a spot kick himself midway into the first half.
