SINGAPORE : Singapore Post will be releasing a new series of 14 stamps, depicting Singapore's native flora and fauna, on June 6.

The local stamps would feature the Frangipani and the Ginger Torch.

Low-value stamps, those priced between 5 cents and S$1, will feature birds such as the Crimson Sunbird and the Stockbilled Kingfisher.

Higher value stamps which are priced from S$1.10 to S$10 will show mammals such as the Banded Leaf Monkey and the Cream-coloured Giant Squirrel.

The new range of stamps are packaged in two different ways.

Singapore Post issues new stamps every three to five years. - CNA/ms
