The new school term at the University of New South Wales in Sydney is not starting till the 23rd of this month.
But some affected students from the recently closed Singapore campus are already in Australia to prepare for their new term.
When UNSW Asia closed last month, the students were forced to consider their next step.
Those opting to settle in Australia say they now face a host of new challenges, one of which is accommodation.
Some students claim the university is not keeping to its promise of finding them a place to stay.
Another concern is that some of the degree modules are not available in Sydney so students say they have to switch to other modules.
And because the Sydney campus runs different courses from the Singapore one, concerns are also being raised about the students' course credits.
UNSW has yet to respond to media queries about the transfer of course credits for these students. - CNA/ch
