SINGAPORE: Over a thousand students came together on Tuesday in an attempt to break the record for the most number of people having a chocolate break and to raise S$30,000 for the President's Challenge Fund.

Participants were mostly students from Temasek Secondary School and leading them was President S R Nathan.

The event also capped the students' month-long effort to sell Kit Kat bars during weekends at selected NTUC Fairprice stores.

Another record attempted on Tuesday was to build Singapore's Tallest House of Cards using almost 15,000 cards.
