SINGAPORE : A new extreme sport attraction has opened at Clarke Quay.

The GX-5 Xtreme Swing promises the feeling of free-falling and flying out over the Singapore River.

The swing reaches speeds of up to 125 kilometres per hour, and lets thrill seekers swing from a height of 45 metres.

Besides New Zealand, Singapore is the only other place in the world where this attraction is available.

The GX-5 Xtreme Swing is located next to the existing G-Max Reverse bungy ride.

Tickets are priced at $30 for students and $40 for adults.

Frontier Sports said it plans to bring in two more similar attractions over the next two years. - CNA /ls
