SINGAPORE: A group of Myanmar nationals in Singapore want foreign governments to send aid into their country to help the cyclone survivors, regardless of whether permission is granted by the military government.

Over 1,800 Myanmar nationals were at the Burmese library at Peninsula Plaza on Sunday to sign a petition for immediate aid to Myanmar.

The petition will be presented to the British High Commission on Monday.
