SINGAPORE : The large circle that is The Singapore Flyer has a lot of symbolic significance, according to the Kadampa Buddhist Society.

For most people, a ride on the capsules is a chance to get a bird's eye view of Singapore.

But for society, the circular-motion represents positive Feng Shui, harmony, peace and prosperity.

So in a blend of the old and the new, Singapore's newest attraction has been chosen as the venue of an exhibition of centuries'-old Buddhist relics, which have come from Thailand, Myanmar, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Tibet.

A floral art show was also on display at the site.

Visitors got to offer prayers for health and prosperity, and pin their wishes on a special wishing tree.
