SINGAPORE: SilkAir has cancelled all its Phuket flights for Sunday. The airline's decision follows the continued closure of the Phuket International Airport which has been hit by political protests in Thailand.

In a statement late Saturday night, SilkAir said passengers who are booked on affected flights are being re-accommodated on its Phuket flights departing next week.

As for passengers booked for departures out of Singapore to Phuket from Friday 29 August (MI756 and MI758) to 4 September, they will be given the option to defer their travel plans, subject to seat availability. Or, they may choose an alternative SilkAir destination for their travels.

Requests for refunds will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

For further enquiries, customers can email silkair_sinsales@singaporeair.com.sg or call SilkAir's ticketing hotline: 6225 4488 (0900 hours to 1730 hours).
