SINGAPORE: The Crown Prince of Bahrain and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Bahrain Defence Force Shaikh Salman Hamad Al-Khalifa will visit Singapore from October 13 to 15 at the invitation of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

The Crown Prince will be accompanied by his Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa and a delegation of senior officials.

During the visit, the Crown Prince will call on President S.R. Nathan and Mr Lee.

He will also meet with Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew.

Prime Minister Lee will host a dinner in honour of the Crown Prince, while Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong will host him to lunch.

While in Singapore, the Crown Prince will witness the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX) and Bahrain Stock Exchange on October 14.

He will also deliver a keynote address at the Singapore Business Federation's Business Seminar on October 15. - CNA/de
