SINGAPORE: Singapore's Education Minister Dr Ng Eng Hen is in Malaysia for a two-day visit beginning Monday.

He will meet his counterpart Hishammuddin Tun Hussein and the Deputy Higher Education Minister, Idris Haron, to explore ways to further strengthen collaboration between the two countries.

The Education Ministry said on Monday that among the areas to be discussed include greater student exchanges and private education.

Dr Ng will also visit the Putrajaya School Presint, the Multimedia University and University of Nottingham's Malaysia campus.

Dr Ng, who is also the Second Minister for Defence, will also have discussions with Malaysia's defence officials.
