SINGAPORE: Singapore's third peacekeeping team has left for Timor Leste.
The is the police force's third contingent there, since the first one in 2006.
It will spend a year there, with a mandate to continue to restore law and order.
They will also be training members of their Timor-Leste counterparts.
The team is led by Contingent Commander Superintendent Keok Tong San.
They were sent off by Guest-of-honour Commissioner of Police Mr Khoo Boon Hui.
