SINGAPORE: The body of a Singaporean hostage killed in a Mumbai terrorist attack has been flown back to Singapore.

Ms Lo Hwei Yen's casket was brought to her parents' home at Lower Delta Road at about 6pm, accompanied by her husband, Mr Michael Puhaindran.

About 50 family members and close friends were among the first to pay their respects, and they were joined by residents living nearby.

At the wake on Sunday, a projection screen was put up showing pictures of the 28-year-old lawyer with her husband, family and friends.

Ms Lo was in Mumbai for a short business trip when she was captured by militants at the Oberoi-Trident Hotel.

Her funeral is scheduled for Thursday.
