SINGAPORE: The families of two Singaporeans killed in the Santika Club fire in Bangkok last Thursday are in the Thai capital.

The authorities there had confirmed on Sunday that the two were among the unidentified bodies, following DNA tests and the matching of partial dental records.

But there have been no further updates from Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs as to when the bodies of 26-year-old Lu Weiye and 40-year-old air traffic controller Leslie Yeo will be flown home.

The nightclub blaze has killed at least 62 people, including one other Singaporean - air traffic controller Teo Sze Siong.

Four Singaporeans were also injured in the fire and two of them are still hospitalised in Bangkok.
