SINGAPORE: Four Members of Parliament (MP) from nearby Ang Mo Kio GRC will handle MP Seng Han Thong's Meet-The-People (MPS) sessions in Yio Chu Kang.

Mr Inderjit Singh told Channel NewsAsia he had discussed the details with grassroots leaders on Monday evening.

Mr Singh said he, together with Dr Lam Pin Min, Ms Lee Bee Wah and Mr Wee Siew Kim, will take turns to do the weekly MPS.

The Ang Mo Kio MPs will also attend community and grassroots events in Yio Chu Kang in the next three months on Mr Seng's behalf.

Mr Seng is currently recovering in the Singapore General Hospital following skin graft operations to his arms, chest and face after a man poured thinner on him and set him alight at a charity grassroots event.
