SINGAPORE: Tampines Rovers moved back to third place in the S.League standings with a 2-0 home win over the Super Reds on Thursday evening.
The victory ensured Tampines moved back ahead of Bruneian side DPMM FC in the standings on goal difference.
Ridhuan Muhammad opened the scoring for the Stags five minutes into the match, when he picked up a cutback from international colleague Noh Alam Shah and slammed the ball past Super Reds' goalkeeper Kang Su Ho.
Alam Shah himself got onto the score sheet in injury time, when he was brought down by Kang in the penalty area and converted the resulting spot kick.
