Polo: HPC England win women's polo tournament, beating S'pore 5-3

SINGAPORE : It was an afternoon of sport and fashion at the Shanghai Tang Women's International Polo tournament on Sunday.

Singapore's team were up against HPC England, in the Gold Cup match.

HPC England won the coveted title 5-3.

The women's tournament is now into its sixth year.

Aside from sports, there was also a best hat contest.

Some 500 guests were at the annual event, with the women battling for the title of best hat.

The top prize went to Ms Claire Chauvel, who won herself a bag worth over $400 by Shanghai Tang. - CNA /ls
