SINGAPORE: Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean and Second Minister for Defence Ng Eng Hen visited a multilateral military exercise on Wednesday.
Exercise Bersama Lima – part of the Five Power Defence Arrangements (FPDA) - involves the air, land and sea forces of Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
Both ministers were briefed on the scope of the exercise at the Republic of Singapore Navy's Command and Control Centre at Changi.
The ministers also interacted with exercise participants from other countries.
Some 240 personnel, 59 aircraft, 19 ships and a submarine are involved in the exercise, which will last till October 23.
