Yatiman Yusof appointed Non-Resident Ambassador to Rwanda

SINGAPORE : The government has appointed Yatiman Yusof as Singapore's first Non-Resident Ambassador to the Republic of Rwanda.

He will be resident in Singapore.

Mr Yatiman was a Member of Parliament from 1984 to 2006.

He served as Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1986 to 1992 and Senior Parliamentary Secretary till 1996.

He was appointed Senior Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts from 1997 to 2006.

Mr Yatiman is currently Singapore's Non-Resident High Commissioner to the Republic of Kenya. - CNA/ms
