131 contestants in the running to win MediaCorp Subaru Impreza WRX Challenge

SINGAPORE : About one-third of the contestants remain standing in a challenge to win a car worth over S$80,000.

As at 9.55pm on Sunday, 131 contestants had managed to keep their hands on the cars since the MediaCorp Subaru Impreza WRX Challenge started at 1pm on Saturday.

Ninety-nine of the remaining contestants are men, while 32 are women.

And among the foreign contestants, Thailand has the highest number of competitors still in the running - at nine.

Last year, Singaporean George Lee drove away the Subaru Impreza after 81 hours and 32 minutes. - CNA/ms
