SINGAPORE: Kingsley Njoku's header three minutes from time was enough to earn Gombak United a 2-2 draw at home to Geylang United on Monday evening as they finished third in the S.League table.

The Jurong West-based side edged ahead of traditional giants Home United on goal difference, both teams having garnered an identical tally of 53 points.

Geylang had gone ahead just four minutes after Miroslav Latiak dispossessed Bah Mamadou and moved clear to fire past Zaiful Nizam, but Ojimi Gabriel Obatola levelled for the hosts in the 23rd minute.

Substitute Yasir Hanapi then put the RHB Singapore Cup finalists ahead midway through the second half, and that seemed enough to earn them the three points before Njoku nodded home a Theerawekin Seehawong corner to earn the Bulls the point they needed. - S.League.com
