SINGAPORE: The Workforce Development Agency, in collaboration with the industry, is working towards developing a specialist track for Clinical Research Professionals.

It will come under the Process Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) framework.

Manpower Minister Gan Kim Yong said this is targeted to be available by the second quarter of 2010. He said that the specialist track will equip workers with relevant practical skills and enhance their knowledge in Clinical Trial Management.

Mr Gan was speaking at the opening of Quintiles Transnational, a clinical research organisation.
