SINGAPORE: A 27-year-old woman was arrested for drink-driving after her car collided with a taxi late Thursday night.

The woman was driving along Springleaf Road while the taxi was travelling along Upper Thomson Road in the direction of Yio Chu Kang Road when the accident happened.

The taxi driver complained of neck pain and was sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for treatment. The woman was arrested after she failed the breathalyzer test.

Further tests showed that her breath contained 107 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres, significantly exceeding the legally prescribed limit of 35 microgrammes per 100 millilitres of breath.
