SINGAPORE: Over 600 participants on Saturday walked the talk on maintaining a healthy lifestyle as part of good diabetes management, ahead of World Diabetes Day, which officially kicks off next week.

Singapore's Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan flagged off the 5.5-kilometre walk, which started and ended at Riverside Point on Saturday morning.

Along the way, Mr Khaw also proved that age is no barrier to doing something more strenuous than walking.

But more than just exercises, there were also interactive games and quizzes that helped to improve the understanding of diabetes.
